Prime minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday inaugurate and lay foundation stones for projects worth over ₹13,700 crore in Hyderabad and Chennai. He will first visit Hyderabad, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth over ₹11,300 crore and will flag off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express.

Later, he will address a public meeting in city’s parade ground. From there, he will leave for Chennai where he will inaugurate the New Integrated Terminal Building of Chennai Airport. He will also flag off the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express at MGR Chennai Central Railway Station.
